Nepalese national cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane will miss the first edition of ‘The Sixty’ cricket tournament to be held in West Indies. Sandeep was associated with Jamaica Tallawahs for the tournament starting on August 25.

Sixty Cricket will start from August 25. Sandeep will miss the series as Nepal will play against Kenya and the Sixty tournament will start on August 25. But for the Caribbean League, Sandeep will go straight to the West Indies from Kenya.

Nepal is touring Kenya for a 5-match T20 and a 3-match ODI series. Sandeep will captain the five-match T20 team, while vice-captain Rohit Poudel will captain the team in the ODIs. Nepalese is scheduled to reach Kenya on August 7 for the series. Nepal is playing 5 T20Is with Kenya from 9 to 14 August and 3 ODIs from 17 to 20 August.
